Bahçeli: “MHP will continue to stand behind every word it says”
MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made important statements on the national agenda at his party’s group meeting. Bahçeli reiterated his call for a face-to-face meeting between İmralı and the Democratic Action Assembly (DEM) group and drew attention to the regional and international threats Turkey faces. At the same time, Bahçeli evaluated the arrest decision of the International Criminal Court against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and emphasized that crimes against humanity will not go unpunished.
“Turkey’s Determination for National Struggle Must Continue”
In his speech, Bahçeli stated that Turkey is under environmental threats and emphasized the vital importance of protecting national ideals. “While Turkey is surrounded by missiles, we must keep our national consciousness alive,” Bahçeli said, emphasizing the importance of the political stability our country gained with the Presidential Government System. He stated that this system provides Turkey with the ability to maneuver both in the regional and global arena.
“With a vigilant consciousness and deep prudence, we must see through possible threats and develop measures against them,” Bahçeli said, pointing to the necessity of being on high alert for Turkey’s future.
“Caniyahu cannot escape, he will be held accountable”
Commenting on the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former defense minister in recent weeks, Bahçeli stated that this decision was an important development in terms of the manifestation of justice. Describing Netanyahu as “Caniyahu”, Bahçeli reminded that the people of Israel took to the streets to protest this leader. “We know that those who commit crimes against humanity will not go unpunished. Everyone involved in the genocide in the Israeli administration will be held accountable for every drop of blood spilled,” he said.
“Turkey without terrorism will be realized together”
Bahçeli emphasized that the fight against terrorism is a priority issue for Turkey’s peace and prosperity. Drawing attention to the millennia-old brotherhood between Kurdish and Turkish people, Bahçeli said, “Our Kurdish brothers and sisters cannot have anything to do with terrorism. We are all citizens of the same state and share a common destiny,” Bahçeli said. He stated that the fight against terrorist organizations will continue with determination for the indivisible integrity of Turkey.
“MHP Steadfastly Maintains Its Position”
Stating that his party always stands by Turkey, Bahçeli once again emphasized that they stand by their previous statements. “We repeat our call for the start of face-to-face talks between İmralı and the DEM group. We will not give up the path we believe in,” Bahçeli said, adding that his party’s position in this process is clear.
Bahçeli also pointed out that the fight against terrorism should be carried out not only with security policies but also with the spirit of social solidarity and brotherhood.
