The cargo plane, operated by SWIFT Airlines on behalf of DHL and departing from Leipzig, Germany to Lithuania, lost control while landing at Vilnius Airport and crashed into a residential area about 1.3 kilometers north. Lithuania’s National Crisis Management Center said the plane crashed into a house and a fire broke out after the collision.
