President Erdoğan Calls for Solutions to Global and National Problems
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made important statements upon his return from Brazil, where he attended the G20 Leaders Summit. Erdoğan, who gave determined messages on many issues from terrorism to global inequality, from humanitarian aid to economic measures, emphasized his solution proposals for the problems Turkey and the world are facing.
“Our Goal of a Terror-Free Turkey Continues”
President Erdoğan reiterated Turkey’s determination in the fight against terrorism. “The steps we have taken to end the terror problem in our country are obvious. Our ultimate goal is a terror-free Turkey. No one should even think about giving up the fight against terrorism,” Erdoğan said, drawing attention to the necessity of cross-border operations. He stated that social and economic policies are being developed to eliminate the threats posed by terrorist organizations at our borders.

Emphasizing that Turkey is the country that provides the most humanitarian aid in proportion to its national income, Erdoğan said that Turkey’s aid activities will continue in oppressed regions, especially Gaza. He stated that a strong stance was taken against Israel’s aggressive policies at the summit in Brazil and that the importance of delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza was accepted by the leaders.

The President also made evaluations regarding the economic situation in Turkey and the fight against inflation. Stating that decisive steps were being taken to permanently reduce inflation, Erdoğan said that measures to protect the purchasing power of employees will continue. “We have not let inflation crush any segment, and we will not let it crush anyone in the future,” he said.

Erdoğan stated that cattle imports from Brazil and Uruguay were being evaluated in order to control food prices, and that these initiatives would enable citizens to access red meat at affordable prices.
